Professor’s caring response to student’s absence goes viral

Single mother and student Morgan King recently learned an invaluable lesson from her professor Dr. Sally Hunter.

After having her childcare fall through for her infant daughter, she emailed her professor to let her know she wouldn’t be attending class. The response she received was so full of kindness and caring that it had her in tears.

Not only did Dr. Hunter offer to have Ms. King’s baby in class, but she also volunteered to hold the baby during lectures and tests to allow the young mother to concentrate on her classwork. Kindness and love are still alive and well — sometimes they can be found in the most unlikely of place!
